About me  

I was born and raised in the beautiful Prague, Czech Republic. I started experimenting with programming languages at age of 10 - first Basic, then Pascal, Delphi, C++, Java, PHP, ASP, C#, Perl, and probably others. Because computer screens became somewhat boring over the time, I moved into more customer-facing roles but never abandoned my core skill set - development.

I spent most of my professional life abroad - in the UK, Norway, Sweden, Argentina, U.S., and finally Australia.

I am a keen outdoor adventurer - I love climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, mountain biking and scuba diving.

Main expertise

I specialize in Integration Architecture and code development using Java and Spring Framework. I'm a big fan of Domain Driven Design and Microservices architecture. I have plenty of hands-on experience with setting up cloud infrastructure in AWS.

My biggest achievement and my soft skills

I completed a 1-year off-road camping trip around South America with my camper in 2014 - drove 50000km from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia and then to California.
Three years later I returned and secured a land in rural Patagonia with intention to develop a sustainable adventure hub.
